Hi, I'm Jonathan

After 18 years as a professional engineer in the defense and space sector and driven by a deep passion for mechanical analysis I founded Quad8 Engineering to deliver high-quality structural analysis services.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to support numerous organizations and to carry designs from concept through qualification and production, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the full product lifecycle.

More than eight years ago, I began specializing in stress and modal analysis using ANSYS, where I developed a strong interest in the finite element method. This led to the completion of a thesis on transient mechanical analysis due to shock, which has since received over 10,000 downloads as of the end of 2025.

I have supported small, mid-size, and large organizations in the mechanical analysis of individual components and complex assemblies using both finite element and closed-form methods. Drawing on this extensive experience, Quad8 Engineering is focused on providing expert-level structural and mechanical analysis to support critical design and verification efforts.
